I'm not sure how I've got through six months of blogging without mentioning or photographing my favourite pair of high heels! I have loved KG shoes for, well, ages and seriously wish I could afford more (don't we all). I actually bought these heels back in 2010 - and I think this is the ultimate proof that you get what you pay for sometimes. These heels were definitely a pricey investment, and there is no way I would normally spend money like that on shoes - but at the time, I had an occasion coming up where I needed some amazing high heels and these just had my name written all over them! So they came home with me and, honestly, three years later, they still look as good as new. I haven't kept them on a velvet pillow and 'saved them for special occasions only' either - I've actually worn them a crazy amount and they've just lasted so amazingly well.
Being so small, I seriously love having a bit of height sometimes and these babies do just that - they're also incredibly comfy (I promise I'm not lying) because, whilst they might be skyscrapers, the pretty material across the front actually holds your foot in place and makes you feel secure in the shoe. There's nothing worse than a pair of five-inch court heels which you feel like you're going to fall out of at any minute. I love wearing these KG's with leggings because I feel like it makes my legs look as slim as their going to get - so a pair of black wet-look leggings are ideal. Teamed with a nice sparkly jumper, and you have an amazing Christmassy outfit for whatever smart social occasion you might be going to. This jumper from River Island was an amazing find from last year, RI are always great for sparkles and sequins and have loads of fab options this year too. The clutch is from Accessorize, who I swear have started to have the most amazing jewellery and bags ever, I'm getting a little bit obsessed with their bags actually, you can see why here!

I love the shoes! Platforms are always more comfy because the platform absorbs the impact when walking.
