Today I'm wearing my new scarf for the first time which I received as a Christmas present! Scarves are so useful for livening up an outfit and this one is covered in cats (massive cat lover) so it's definitely a new favourite. It's nice to have a splash of red colour too, especially as it's I've decided I really need to add more colour into my outfits! Baby steps but I will get there slowly. Plus this scarf is a lovely, soft fabric and nice and long too, so I can wrap it around my neck several times and style it several different ways. Excellent! This is an H&M jacket from years ago but it's an old favourite, definitely not that warm (probably more of a spring jacket) but I love the sleeves and it's great to pull on with quite a casual outfit.

Underneath the jacket is a shirt from Miss Selfridge, also pretty old, but I've always liked the leather look collar - plus a high buttoned collar is a nice background for a necklace. This necklace is one of the ones I got in my Topshop Freedom Jewellery Advent Calendar (feels like ages ago since I was going that) and is a cute little gold heart, perfect to pop on with an outfit like this. I'm half way through a bit of a wardrobe clear out, looking for bits to sell or throw out, I'm such a hoarder and really need to create a bit of extra wardrobe space - but in doing so I've found quite a few interesting bits, so will be putting those up on here over the next week or so. Apologies for my rather ghostly appearance also, clearly a little tired and need to start a health kick (new 'healthy regime' starting tomorrow - lets see how long it lasts!)
