Faux Fur Snood - Next
Another triumph this week has been my discovery of a faux fur snood which wasn't ridiculously overpriced! I've been after one for a while, but the faux fur obsession isn't exactly cheap and I definitely didn't feel I could justify any more spending on faux fur this year. I saw this one in Next last week and at £12, I didn't think that was too bad in comparison to some of the monster price tags I've seen in other places! I really love it though, it keeps my neck nice and warm in this horrible cold weather and I don't have 'the fear' of getting make-up all over it. Plus it goes with most outfits, which is great, though I definitely think it looks better with paler jumpers.
This jumper was an essential buy, obviously, from Zara - my excuse is that I live in Ipswich, which doesn't have a Zara in sight, so I never get the chance to shop there, and inevitably when I went to Cambridge last week I got lost in the store there for several hours. This is the only item I bought though, and it's a replacement for a lovely pink jumper that I've had for years from Warehouse, which is now looking a little worn and sad. This is an amazing replacement though and it's always useful to have a couple of plain jumpers to throw on during the day, plus you can't beat Zara for beautiful pastel colours. The skirt was a less thrifty and really naughty buy which I can't even attempt to justify, except as another early Christmas present to myself? Hmm. I very rarely wear skirts but I've been spying on this one for ages and finally caved...and given it's price tag I plan to wear it a hell of a lot!
In other news, Christmas shopping isn't going well at all and once again I find myself with a week til Christmas with barely anything done! I think it's one of those things where you feel like you have ages to spend choosing people the perfect present...only to suddenly wake up and realise you've seriously run out time. I'm going in to battle the crowds of Ipswich tomorrow to get it all done though and hopefully will get it all sorted out. The Christmas decoration and Christmas food front is going much better however, the house looks beautiful and I've already worked my way through several boxes of celebrations. Let the Christmas pounds come upon me! The LBD diet really didn't work this year. Ah well.

Lovely cute look, and the quilted skirt is fab! Xx
